Description of the interaction:

A contact microphone is attached to the bathtub and to a pure data patch, which both creates a resonance of the sound and controls the speed size of a 3D object in a screen. The motorised stick (servo) hitting the bathtub and the fans airing the laundry resonate along the sounds created by the spectators. The servo and fans are connected to the system via an arduino.

Strategy:
Labyrinth
Extra details about the work:

Let’s talk about the radicality of water.
From labor to maintenance and self-care, how is the presence of the body represented in all of it?
How can we think not about, but through water?
Ah, so refreshing. Now, swim with me, little duckling.

About the project

The archive of interactive art is an attempt to create a platform for sharing documentation of interactive art. In hopes to better understand the different strategies and the similarities of the works.

Largely based on the paper Strategies of interactive art (2010) by Ryszard w. Kluszczynski.

Initiated by Vygintas Orlovas as a part of the postdoctoral project “Exploring strategies of interactive art and active participation. A practice-based approach to map audience engagement” (Nr. S- PD-22-29), funded by the Research Council of Lithuania.
